The Language of Flowers Coloring Book (Dover Nature Coloring Book

coloringbookMy children and I love Dover coloring books. They are high quality at a low price.  Each
page has the name of the flower (common and Latin), what the flower stands for,
and a physical description of the flower.

This very inexpensive coloring book is a lovely way to share nature with your children and
allow creativity while experimenting with color. My 11 year old just loves to get on the computer and look up flower pictures to help me research my blog, so this coloring book is just perfect for her.  I copy the pages at work so we can do multiple copies of the different flowers and try different colors with our favorite flowers.

The variety of flowers is quite nice and it is a great way to begin teaching children about the Language of Flowers.  Barnes and Noble has the best price for this book.

Flowers included in this book:
Dog Rose, Sweet Pea, Angelica, Orchid, Lily, Camelia, Carnation,
Bluebell, Poppy, Michaelmas Daisy, Lilac, Iris, Magnolia, Narcissus, Buttercup,
Yellow Rose, Trumpet Daffodil, Tulip, Hibiscus, Pansy, Zinnia, Jasmine,
Cornflower, Passionflower, Geranium, Forget me not, Morning Glory, Red Rose,
Anemone, and Gardenia.
